Like so many others I have just learned about this horrible murder. I can't imagine what they went through or what the parents have gone through since. I would like to know the answer to a couple of questions. What can we do about the media and the democrats thought process in general? Also, what can we do about the problem of blacks in this country? Statistically they are a small portion of the population, yet they are committing a large portion of the crimes. I believe that blacks have in them the ability to do things like this grizzly murder, much more so than whites. Yes, it is a black vs white "thing". Look at the differences in the crime rate of states with few blacks versus states with many blacks, (Vermont vs Detroit). Anyway why is it that people do not want to believe this simple truth?

I cannot believe it is this past week in *2009* that I just found out about these horrific murders! As it has been pointed out had the tables been turned and the victims were black, the whole country would have found out immediately. I am absolutely disgusted that the media operates this way!!!! It is wrong on every level. I am so saddened for Channon's and Hugh's family and I hope they can find a small fragment of peace as these pieces of garbage get put away one by one.
 

I could not agree with you more, these types of things happen all the time and I think the public really needs to know what these negro idiots really think about white people and then maybe we could all get some things accomplished. In this case I believe they should go through the same type of torture that the victims went through times 10. Such a sad incident may God be with them and there families pray that these cold blooded murderers get what they deserve and not just locked up for life.

I just wanted to say that I am absolutely appalled at what I have found out here today. I heard something on the Marc and Kim show on the radio this morning about the efforts of an attorney to have his client's charges dismissed on account of "racial discrimination", and this was the first I had heard of the incident. It galls me to to know that our own news forums are trying to keep something like this under wraps and, so it would seem to me, protect the privacy of men who obviously do not deserve it. The butchery that these monsters subjected these two people to is outrageous, and black or white--they have to pay for what they did. They do not deserve to have the media soften or even downplay the severity of their savagery nor should one of them be allowed to walk because he is, supposedly, a victim of the discrimination and hatred that he and his cohorts are guilty of perpetrating on two innocent young people. It is sickening to know that such hatred exists, and that someone such as this attorney can even entertain the notion that someone like his client deserves leniency after carrying out such cruelty.

I moved to Knoxville on May 25, 2007 and just learned about this yesterday on 102.1 fm. I heard the deejays discussing what had happened (sparing details) so I researched the names that a caller gave as well as this web site address. I just listened to the recorded portion on the home page. I was shocked to learn of these tragic deaths. I cannot imagine what the families of these two victims must have gone through initially, nor what they must go through day to day. What these Channon and Christopher went through is horrific and should have never happened much less ever happen again, to anyone. I hope that these suspects all get life in prison. However, no punishment in the universe could be bad enough or satisfy me. Even an "eye for an eye," would not be justice in my opinion. Bless the families of the victims.
 

I just heard about this case today while surfing the net. Today's date is April 6, 2008. There really is a media blackout of this, i would not have heard about it if it weren't for the klan website. It seems to me that if the colors were reversed this story would be known by everyone. It is an attack on the memory of these two young people that the media has chosen to ignore this. It is as though the liberal media does not want to show black people for what they really are because if the majority of American people knew what they are, the media's dream of an integrated society would be destroyed. The 5 animals that committed this act of evil should be hung in the town square, that would be true American justice. To the families of the two young victims, i am sorry for your loss and i will be praying for you.
 

Thank you for standing up for what is right. Channon and Chris will always be in my prayers. I have a little two year old baby girl, and I can only hope that she will never has to see the disgusting violence that my generation and yours has had to deal with from people, and the government just pats them on the hand get they get away with it.

I didn't know Channon or Chris but I do know Chris's family. His sister Andrea and I went to school together from kindergarten until we graduated. We lost touch after high school but I remeber being at my moms house and looking at my old school pictures. In elementary school you are alays seated the way the photographer wants you to be. Andrea and I were always seated next to each other. When I looked at those photo's I thought of our years in school together. I never really thought much about the people I went to school with until I heard about this. I can't imagine what the families are going thru. All of them are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply sadden of the lose of the two couple. True I believe it is an hate crime and those five should be be subject to death in the worst way. However I will say this I to am black and I am American I beleieve we all can co exist, I hope an pray that we can come to turns about our belief and not judge by the color of our skins. I agree the need punishment in the worst way. But not all American who are black are like these savage animals, if I am forgiving of the crimes white men have done to black and young mothers and children you all should be to. May those five burn in hell, may the couple rest in peace, but the violence have to start. Lets remember truth maybe that this is not our land in the first place and everyone has came here by destiny, keep your belief as I keep mine and still live in peace

I try to read as little as possible about what was done to this young couple because it hurts me. Christopher Newsome looks like the sort of guy I would go fishing with, and might have over for a sandwich and a beer or three. Channon Christian looks like a gal any man in his right mind would want to date and bring home to meet his mother. They were each lucky in this respect, at least.
 
The smiles on their faces make it obvious they loved each other. Can anyone doubt it? Had they married someday, what would their children have been named?
 
Their murderers did more than torture and kill an innocent couple. This can not be born.
 

I just heard about this sickening event via Michael Savage on youtube. First off, I'd just like to send my condolences out to both the families and friends of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom. I never knew this couple and I'm sick to my stomach, I can't even imagine what they must be going through. The lack of coverage this story received is disgraceful. I am a marine stationed at Camp Pendleton and I will do my part and spread news of this massacre throughout my area. This incident will not be ignored.

Could you please send me the date of the next rally in Knoxville, TN? I wish to attend to show support for the Christian/Newsom and the future of my own family. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

God please tell me that they will be charged as a hate crime???

I was shocked to hear about this, and very little surprises me in the world today. These brutal murder's are a sign of the times without a shadow of doubt. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and freinds of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom. May God give you peace.

This tragedy should not have happened. To have lives of meaning dishonored and barbarically ended in such a manner is entirely unforgivable. To know the lives of these rather worthless individuals who contribute nothing worth recognition shall continue is in itself pathetic. One thing I can honestly say is worth admiring in the Middle East is their tolerance of such behaviours. These individuals would have been tried sufficiently, quickly, and executed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these beautiful human beings!

i know we have a big problem in the world and its not right the way it is going now.
i would like to say sorry to the close family of the couple and i am realy in a shock.
i hope also that the hate take over its not good to hate people and or say that all the blacks are wrong.
i hate blacks my self and i never had to loose a close family member to them.
so i dont think i can speak about how you feel but again the whole world has to stand up and do something about this.

I am deeply saddened to see this happen to these two young people.
I also wonder why this story didn't get more press. this story should have been on CNN headlines for days, if not weeks.
I was on the web checking on another sad story that I'm following when I noticed this one. that story can be found by goggling "Dunbar Village gang rape".
I couldn’t help but notice that both Channon & Christopher names have "Christ" in them and I now they're with the Lord now; and smiling down on the rest of us.
This should not be about black & white, this is about good & evil.
Please don't hate me because my skin is black.
